Fun at Medieval Times in Dallas Texas
My family and I try to spend as much quality time together as possible. Since we only have a few more weeks in Texas, I wanted to savor every minute. One of my favorite venues I have been looking forward to is the Medieval Times. It’s all my kids have been talking about and I knew it was going to be an awesome experience and it was.

The Entertainment
I know I have talked about visiting Medieval Times before, but when you get to do it in person, it’s hard to find the words for how awesome it is. The knights perform with real weapons, which all of us thought was really cool. The show is so real that each sword has to be repainted after the show, that means there is real live action going on during the show. When jousting, the knights even charge at amazing speeds, just like in real Medieval times. I’m sure that takes a lot of practice. When my family attended, they considered us VIP royalty, which was also neat to experience. My daughter got a flower from the knight after he won one of his games and she has been taking extra special care of it!

Setup
When you walk into the Medieval Times location, it is like you are transported back in time to what it was like. I loved seeing the artwork and how everyone was dressed up to make it more realistic. Looking around, I feel like I was transported into another time.

Dinner
The dinner part of the show was also awesome! You are served out of dishes that resemble something from the medieval time period. Anytime there is food, I’m up for it! Dining with the King is an experience I won’t ever forget that is for sure. I love how you feel like royalty as you eat the food. Garlic bread, tomato bisque soup, roasted chicken, sweet buttered corn, herb-based potatoes, the pastry of the castle, and at two rounds of the drink of your choice. Let’s just say that we were super full when we left.
We also found out that our 2-year-old LOVED the tomato soup! Mommy only got to try it before she ate almost all of it!
My Thoughts
I felt like our experience to Medieval Times was very realistic. From the entertainment to the food, I was impressed the whole time. I don’t think I have ever seen my kids smile so big. It was definitely worth the trip and I hope we get to go again.
